The Stones of Blood (1978)

Now, I want it to be clearly understood: the Ogri are among my favorite one-off Doctor Who monsters. Weird and creepy, they were ambulatory standing stones that subsisted on proteins such as blood and hunted their prey with a pulsing glow and a heartbeat-like sound.

It’s just that, as you can see in the photo above, they’re rather out of place anywhere that isn’t a Neolithic stone circle.
