Guestbook

Although I am told that “guestbooks went out with hit counters, webrings, and flaming skull animated gifs,” here’s one anyway. Please feel free to leave your name, city of residence and what drew you to this blog. Thanks!

Just a voice from the past, haunting you. Booo…oooo…. (in a Count Floyd voice)
Hey, There!
Wonderful site!! Great quality. Main reason I’m checking in is in the hopes that you can help me. I am the writer of “The Visitors- A Technical Information manaual” When I was at ANALOG publishing (in the time between the miniseries, and the series). My fan club “The Freedom Network” was worldwide, and I met MANY wonderful people during my many convention visits. Am pretty ambivilent about the new show- still surprised it went through. I’m looking to see if you, or anybody else, has a copy of my Tech manual that I can buy. The original gallies are all gone. STARLOG Magazine was selling bootleg copies, but ceased when contacted. Any help would be appreciated!
thank you, and keep up the good work!
Regards!

Hi. Where on Earth did you get that awesome Lizard Baby prop? Is there any way I could get hold of one? Let me know, thanks! I am a huge fan of the original show, and I like the new one as well. I live in Greenwood, Indiana. So far I have only appeared in one film (The Shark is Still Working) and have had three of my jokes used on The Bob and Tom Show. I also perform at the International Al Jolson Society annual conventions and have had a theme song I wrote and performed used on an FM radio show in Philadelphia. I hope to some day have further success in entertainment, but it’s always encouraging to see a fellow Hoosier who has already had success in the entertainment biz. Thanks so much for this great blog. Take care.
Well, look what I found! Dave, while rummaging through some old files, I came across your Valentine’s Day column from the Daily News in 1986. Looks like you’re doing well and still having fun!
I stumbled upon your site while looking for different interpretations of the Visitor alphabet. But it was really the picture of you and your daughter “Liz” that grabbed my attention! So are you a lizard in disguise? Or is it your wife..? Seriously, is that a genuine prop from the original show? It sure looks like the real thing!
Your thoughts on the new V are very close to my own. I love the humor you mix into your commentary. Keep it up! Check out my episode analyses on my site if you’ve a mind to.
